It’s that time of year, when we invite you to be a part of the most unique benefit on Broadway.

We hope you’ll consider being a sponsor of the only fundraising event that brings the Broadway community out in force for abortion rights — A is For Presents: Broadway Acts for Women, Sunday, September 30th at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

A star-studded night of music and mayhem, Broadway Acts For Women is in its fourth year of raising critical funds and awareness on behalf of struggling health care providers and advocates all over the country. Each year, and in the only event of its kind, Broadway performers who support access to reproductive health care show up to sing something they’ve never rehearsed, while the audience bids for a fantastic prize AND the chance to choose the song.

This event brings out Broadway’s best every single year. Past performers include Patti LuPone, Betty Buckley, Tituss Burgess, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Rebecca Luker, Howard McGillin, Michael Cerveris, Montego Glover, Lena Hall, Brian d’Arcy James, Tonya Pinkins, Keith Carradine, and many more.

Host Cecily Strong of Saturday Night Live returns this year, joined by A is For’s Martha Plimpton, and by our new auctioneer, downtown comedy genius and fierce feminist Amanda Duarte (Dead DarlingsTime Out New York’s pick of the week too many weeks to count). 2018 brings us a new roster of Broadway’s biggest singing stars, as always accompanied by the A is For band, led by musical director Dan Lipton.

This year, the threat is greater than it was 45 years ago, when Roe v Wade was decided. That’s why we’ve chosen to support three organizations whose work is critical to protecting reproductive freedom in some of the most underserved parts of our country: National Advocates for Pregnant Women, Access Reproductive Care, and National Network of Abortion Funds.

Broadway Acts For Women has broken its own fundraising record 3 years in a row. This year, we plan to continue that streak—and that’s where you come in.

We invite you to join our mission by becoming an event sponsor. AllyAdvocate, and Ambassador sponsorships are available at the $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000 giving levels, respectively.

Each level offers a variety of benefits. Ambassador sponsorship entitles you to premium seating and dinner with a wine pairing for four, an invitation to the after-party, including photo opportunities with members of the cast, and more!

Our sponsors are a huge part of what makes this night so unique and successful. If you haven’t yet, we hope you’ll become a sponsor of Broadway Acts for Women 2018. And if you have, we hope we can count on you again this year. A is For believes that this benefit is more important now than ever before, and we are very grateful to have you standing with us.

Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Kellie Overbey at bafwsponsorships2018@aisfor.org. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at Broadway Acts for Women!
